During the inaugural Unqork Create conference, Unqork’s Head of Life Insurance & Retirement, Chandresh “CK” Kothari held a virtual session with Marsh’s Andreas Wetterwald (Global Marsh Deputy Chief Information Officer/CIO Marsh Americas) and Kathleen Kreuzer (Chief Business Officer for Global Operations) to discuss the two companies’ ongoing partnership.

One of the great benefits of Unqork’s enterprise no-code application platform is the flexibility it provides, which empowers companies to address changes of any kind rapidly. “Unqork or no-code is a really great tool to have,” explained Andreas, “solutions like SAP or Salesforce [are] where you can do configuration within a box with pre-determined solutions and processes. The platform’s flexibility has allowed Marsh to deliver benefits to all stakeholders in the organization while being customizable enough to address the company’s unique business needs. “This platform lends itself to what our brokers want,” explained Kathleen. “And what we need and ability to scale and an ability to handle complexity, but still allow for a very flexible user-based experience. What I think sets this platform apart from other platforms we've looked at is that they are very rigid and workflow-based. But our process is not linear, and you've been able to accommodate to our scale and complexity, but still have flexibility, which is key.”

Part of the great promise of Unqork is how it empowers companies to rapidly address disruptions of any scale through transformation. There have been few disruptions more impactful than the pandemic, but Marsh has been able to withstand these disruptions using Unqork. 

“This pandemic has impacted like all of us, the way we've worked, right?,” commented Kathleen. “Our industry tends to be very people-oriented—lots of meetings with trips to see clients and trips to markets—to really kind of negotiate the deal in person. And we've now gone through an entire year-plus of renewals being done remotely. It’s really amplified the need for us to have digital tools. Our colleagues need more capability to interact with our clients in a digital way. I think that's why Unqork is in demand across the globe right now.”
