As Insurtech and digital-first startups increasingly disrupt the insurance space, Infosys is harnessing the power of Unqork’s CaaS platform to help traditional insurance carriers adapt their operating models, products, and core processes.
“We are helping insurers with what we call ‘edge innovation,’” said Vinay Kumar H S, Practice Engagement Manager, Infosys.
To deliver edge innovation, Infosys offers an insurance e-app marketplace offering pre-built, end-to-end journeys and end-to-end automation—all built on the Unqork platform. Services range from intelligent documentation and AI/ML models to pre-built customer journeys.
Data and systems integrations
Critical to Infosys’s offerings is Unqork’s codeless architecture, which enables plug-and-play capabilities for integrating with core admin systems like Guidewire and Duck Creek, as well as any legacy system or data source.
In addition, Unqork makes it faster and easier to take advantage of Infosys’s int

elligent document processing offering, which gathers and organizes key data from disparate forms. This is critical to speeding processes, so that traditional insurers can compete with digital-first start-ups.
“You need intelligent document processing to extract that data, make sense out of that data, and orchestrate it into your core admin systems,” explained Kumar.
From ideation to MVP in 18 weeks
By combining its deep industry knowledge and IP with the power of Unqork’s CaaS platform, Infosys is speeding time-to-market by up to 50% or more.
“We can now roll out an end-to-end MVP in 18 weeks,” said Reetwick Ghosh, Senior Director of Digital Transformation Strategy and Sales, Infosys. Without the power of Unqork to accelerate development, such a solution would typically take 26 to 30 weeks, said to Ghosh.
“The key building blocks for this is the codeless architecture that Unqork offers,” concluded Kumar.
